Cardiac Sonographer

Zenith Cardiology, located in Bundall Gold Coast, is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join our expanding cardiology practice.

We seek someone who can independently perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and ideally stress echocardiograms.

Remuneration is $130,000 – $170,000 per year, depending on experience and job suitability.

Key Responsibilities

Clinic-based investigations.
Independently perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
Collaborate with our cardiologists to interpret scans and deliver detailed, timely reports using a streamlined reporting system.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure the highest standards of patient care, comfort, and safety during procedures.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functionality.

About you

Relevant qualifications in cardiac sonography.
Current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
Own professional indemnity insurance.
A driver’s licence and daily access to a car.
Strong clinical skills and experience in performing a range of cardiac ultrasound examinations independently, including stress-echo.
Less than 1 year of experience performing transthoracic echocardiograms independently is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and pride in the accuracy of your work.
