About the OPPORTUNITY

Provide a professional medical imaging service. Assist the Supervisor Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) with the efficient management of the medical imaging department. Supervise MITs and support staff.

To be successful in this role, you will have…

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging and eligible for registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and licensing with the Radiological Council of WA.
  • Substantial experience in a range of medical imaging modalities with competent adaptation of technique to suit non-routine situations.
  • Ability to diagnose simple equipment faults and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • High level time management and organisational skills when planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating medical imaging services.
  • Knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of Equal
  • Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety & Health, and how these impact on employment, people management and service delivery.
  • Current C or C-A Class driver’s licence or other specialised licence class
