We are seeking an experienced and driven Chief Radiographer to lead our well-established stand-alone imaging clinic in Glen Waverley, featuring on-site parking and a full-time on-site radiologist. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior radiographer ready to step into a pivotal leadership role within a comprehensive, high-quality imaging environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Chief Radiographer will provide both clinical and operational leadership, ensuring best-practice imaging services, strong team engagement, and smooth day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the on-site radiologist and senior leadership to maintain high standards across all modalities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support the radiography and sonography team
Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centred imaging services
Maintain clinical governance, radiation safety, and accreditation standards
Oversee rostering, workflow optimisation, and resource utilisation
Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development
Build strong working relationships with radiologists, referrers, and operational stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement and a positive workplace culture

About You

AHPRA-registered Radiographer with substantial post-graduate experience
Demonstrated leadership or senior radiographer experience
Strong clinical capability across multiple modalities (MRI/CT experience highly regarded)
Confident communicator with a collaborative leadership style
Organised, proactive, and patient-focused
