Cardiac Sonographer – Grade 3 -70164
The Cardiology Department at the Royal Melbourne Hospital is in a growth phase with additional beds and a new Cardiac Cath Lab. The Royal Melbourne Hospital is part of the Parkville precinct and is co-located with the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The Echo Department has Echo Educators and uses the latest Philips and GE echo machines. There are regular education meetings during hours and a diverse range of pathology including adult congenital heart disease. We have a full time echo inpatient co-ordinator nurse to help with inpatient workflow and to assist with bubble studies/contrast injections. Your new role We are seeking experienced and motivated echo sonographers to join our dynamic team. The primary role involves working in Echo performing transthoracic echocardiograms on inpatients and outpatients in the Diagnostic Cardiology Department. About you:
