About the Role

GCR are seeking a fully qualified and accredited sonographer who can work autonomously to join our dynamic team.  The sonographer will participate in the general clinical workload (and MSK if skilled in this area), with obstetric experience mandatory.

This is a full-time position being 38 hours per week and may involve working at our Surfers Paradise or Hope Island practices.  Our Hope Island rooms are open from 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with our Surfers Paradise rooms open between 8.00am and 5.00pm, so there is scope to provide flexible working hours.  Gold Coast Radiology would also welcome any interested candidate to complete a two-week casual placement to ensure the “fit” is suitable for both parties.

A generous remuneration package is on offer (commensurate with level of experience) comprising an attractive hourly rate, with a mix of paid conference leave, CPD allowance, and relocation costs on offer.

Gold Coast Radiology is a family-oriented employer and as such has a mandatory Christmas period closure, allowing all staff to spend quality time with their family over the festive season.

About You

Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience (mandatory)
Breast sonography experience highly desirable
Broad sonography experience
General sonography experience
Musculoskeletal experience
Interventional experience
Focus on patient care
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Empathetic and caring manner
Commitment to working as part of a team
