| Job Description | A once in a career opportunity exists at the Launceston general hospital for a Senior Specialist Radiographer CT to lead the implementation of two new CT scanners in the Radiology department. The senior radiographer is responsible for the day to day running of the scanners, workload management and protocol review and implementation. LGH is a 300 bed Regional Hospital teaching hospital situated in North of Tasmania, with a strong focus on education and specialist care. With a growing number of new Consultants to the region the opportunity to be a part of a new wave of healthcare in Launceston awaits. The population catchment for the Launceston General Hospital of approximately 250000, extends from the Northwest to the east coast of Tasmania. The LGH is unique it the level of tertiary specialist medical services it has for a regional hospital, as such we see a wide range of presentations and complex medical imaging cases. Salary: $116,616 – $124,147 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging.
