MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST (MRI)

Are you a radiographer with experience in MRI and interested in a brand-new MRI department at a private radiology group in Hamilton, regional Victoria?  If you are a motivated, skilled radiographer with great communication and mentoring skills we’d love for you to join our team.

The team at Bendigo Radiology work together for the delivery of expert diagnostic imaging and patient care in our practices within Hamilton, Bendigo, and its surroundings.  You’ll operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment; work with highly motivated and enthusiastic colleagues and be provided with opportunities for professional development.

Standard working arrangements are Monday to Friday with weekend and on-call requirements in CT, x-ray, and theatre.

Hamilton is a beautiful regional city with a rich history located near to the Henty Wine Region and the Grampians and Napier National Parks.

Our state-of-the-art digital imaging equipment includes modalities such as X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, CT, DEXA, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.

The successful applicant must provide evidence of:

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent
• Eligibility for A.S.M.I.R.T Statement of Compliance
• National Registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist
• Victorian Department of Health Radiation Use Licence
• Evidence of CPD in line with registration requirements
• Clinical experience working as a radiographer in MRI
• Completion of or working towards a Postgraduate Qualification in MRI would be advantageous.
• Experience working in an MRI.
• Hold a current Working with Children check and Police check.
