Bayside Health Service Medical Imaging Department are looking for several Senior – Sonographers/Radiographer or Sonographers to join their team. Bayside Health Service encompasses five public health campuses Redland Hospital, Redlands Satellite Hospital, Marie Rose Centre, Wynnum Manly Community Health Centre Gundu Pa and Pandanus Ward at Casuarina Lodge. Medical Imaging provides a 24-hour service to provide clinical support services to medical staff, clinical departments and surrounding community. It provides general and emergency x-ray, CT (including interventional procedures), ultrasound and associated special procedure service.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver high level Ultrasound services, as a senior member of the Redland Hospital Medical Imaging (MI) team, to clients of Qld Health.

The Sonographer Senior is able to make high level decisions regarding provision of service, human resource management, workflow efficiencies, procedural guidance, clinical report advice to Radiologists and should be able to step into the Ultrasound Team Leader role as required.
