Radiographer – North Western BreastScreen

BreastScreen provides high quality mammography and assessment services to women in the north western region
A multidisciplinary team environment, working closely with clinical and non-clinical staff
Business hours, no evening or weekend shifts
Part time role, must be available to work Fridays
North Western BreastScreen is part of Royal Melbourne Hospital and BreastScreen Victoria. The Program offers free digital mammograms to women in the target group, aged 50-74, living or working in the north western region of Melbourne. The service is also accessible to women over 40 years old. North Western delivers an expert clinical and non-clinical breast service with great emphasis on a multidisciplinary team approach, whereby clinical and support staff work together at the assessment centre located at the Royal Park Campus.

BreastScreen Victoria services are delivered throughout Victoria and involve a mix of public and private providers.

Your new role:

Screening mammography at any of the three clinics associated with NWB – Essendon, Parkville and Footscray.
Work in assessment clinics at Parkville, working closely with radiologists performing biopsies.
Commitment to person-centred care and best practice standards, including ongoing process improvement.

Maintenance of equipment in compliance with legal requirements.
Compliance with BreastScreen Australia accreditation standards.
About you:

You have mammography experience and excel in a collaborative environment.
You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
You hold current AHPRA registration.
