Cardiac Sonographer / Physiologist

The Role

The Cardiac Sonographer / Physiologist is responsible for providing a high-quality service within the areas of echocardiography, stress echocardiography and exercise testing.

Key responsibilities include:

Participates in the provision, effective, professional cardiac service, ensuring the delivery of high quality, compassionate, competent care.
Performs technical duties including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.

About you

The successful candidate will bring two (2) years’ experience as a Cardiac Sonographer / Physiologist and have tertiary qualifications in QUT / CQU / DMU/ Grad Diploma in Cardiac Sonography – Cardiac or equivalent.

You will have:

Need to have current registration with ASUM /ASAR.
Fulfills the criteria as a cardiac sonographer.
Competent and knowledgeable regarding cardiac sonography.
Demonstrated team, quality and customer focus.
Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Ability to maintain confidentially in all matters.

It is a condition of employment that all staff receive the required vaccines, unless they have a relevant medical exemption. Vaccination evidence or evidence of a medical contraindication must be provided prior to commencement.

As per Cabrini policy, a mandatory copy of a current (under 12 months) police record check must be provided prior to the commencement date.
