Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Leading quality diagnostic imaging service seeks Full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join our Gold Coast team. Work Monday to Friday across our modern Gold Coast practises including Southport, John Flynn Hospital (Tugan), Pindara Hospital (Benowa) and expanding in 2023.

South Coast Radiology (SCR) part of the IDX group and is the largest radiology company on the Gold Coast and is one of the longest standing radiology providers to Southeast Queensland. Located across our 17 convenient imaging locations across the Tweed and Gold Coast regions.

Our skillful Technologists work with state-of-the-art equipment including PET/CT in modern practices.

The primary focus of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is to provide high quality and efficient nuclear medicine services to our patients and referrers.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist reports to the Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Charge and is responsible for:

Assessing the request for the examination and identifying the correct patient
Selecting the correct protocols to suit the situation
Ensuring patients are treated with the utmost care and respect
Updating the RIS/PACS system with accurate patient and service details

To join our amazing team, you will need:

Bachelor Applied Science (Medical Radiation) in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years experiance preferred
Registration with AHPRA
QLD Radiation Use Licence
To promote and maintain high standards of patient care
High level of personal and interpersonal communication
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Work effectively on your own or as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Monday to Friday across different locations across the Gold Coast including John Flynn Hospital

Remuneration will be offered in relation to skills and experience of a circa of $70,500 – $107,000 per annum + Super.
