X-Ray & Imaging (XRI) is a specialist radiology provider with practices across the beautiful Sunshine Coast, and recently joined the Integral Diagnostic (IDX Group); we operate quality comprehensive practices including CT, Mammography, BMD, X-Ray, Ultrasound, MRI and Nuclear Medicine across Australia and New Zealand. Our practices are primarily based in the southern hub in Caloundra, Beerwah, Kawana and Maroochydore.

Who you’ll be working for:

Our Chief Sonographer, Kyle, is a dual qualified Rad/Sono. Kyle is passionate about delivering a friendly, patient-centred experience, with a focus on quality clinical imaging. Kyle works clinically, alongside his team members, and makes time to get around all of our practices to see his team members regularly. Originally from Rockhampton, where he started his working life as an apprentice mechanic before changing careers, Kyle is a mad keen fisherman, who regularly organises fishing trips as social outings for the XRI team, with the assistance of our Medical Liaison Officer.

ABOUT THE ROLE

To keep up with patient demand, we are adding an additional ultrasound machine and are looking for part-time or full-time Sonographers to join our team.

X-Ray & Imaging offers sonographers:

Interesting and varied range of examinations

8.6 hour shifts, with an RDO every fortnight for full-time employees

ABOUT YOU

Accredited Medical Sonographer, registered with ASAR
Comprehensive experience in general ultrasound, obstetrics, vascular, MSK and interventional work
Nuchal accreditation desirable but not essential
Strong time and workflow management skills
Sound judgment and decision-making skills
Be committed to your own professional development, including embracing ongoing learning as part of professional development
Ability to work independently as well as a desire to become a supportive member of the XRI team
Commitment to providing high quality ultrasound and patient centred care
Experience using Philips and Canon advantageous.
