Graduate Radiographer

Fixed Term Full Time – 80 hours per fortnight

Classification: Medical Imaging Technologist, AF3 – AG1 (on call)

Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2020 -2021

This is a great opportunity for a newly graduated Radiographer to join the team at MDHS, working in a 12 month graduate position! In this role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of diagnostic Radiography and Computed Tomography examinations to the MDHS catchment area to a high standard.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • Ability to perform a wide range of Medical Imaging examinations

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications / Experience

1.       Experience in the general operation of the Medical Imaging Department.

2.       Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

3.       Radiation Licence

Specialist Expertise

4.       Ability to perform a wide range of Medical Imaging examinations.

5.       Understanding of current operational practices

6.       Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

7.       Ability to accept change and use it to benefit the Department

8.       Willingness to liaise with Referring Practitioners and the Community

9.       Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.

10.   Ability to accept accountability.
