About the Company

In One Healthcare is an Allied Health provider based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. We are a community organisation that provides Allied Health services to people of all ages in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We have now expanded into opening our own Radiology Clinic and are seeking a Sonographer to join our organisation. The ideal candidate will join our friendly team organisation on a permanent full time basis.

About the position

As a Sonographer your responsibilities will involve:

Explaining Sonographic procedures to patients, answering questions, preparing the patient for the procedure etc
Adjusting the equipment when needed to ensure a clearer image for diagnostic purposes
Monitoring the patient to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedure
Selecting and examining the images by looking for the differences in the image and determining if the scope of the exam should be extended based on initial findings
Completing appropriate documentation and paperwork
Requirements

In order to establish your career within this position, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

Must be registered with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Register (ASAR) and tertiary qualifications in Medical Sonography
2 years Sonographer experience highly desirable
Excellent Customer Service skills
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check, Police Check and NDIS screening check
