About the Company

In One Healthcare is an Allied Health provider based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. We are a community organisation that provides Allied Health services to people of all ages in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We have now expanded into opening our own Radiology Clinic and are seeking a Radiographer to join our organisation. The ideal candidate will join our friendly team organisation on a permanent full time basis.

About the position

As a Radiographer your responsibilities will involve:

Performing Diagnostic Imaging Procedures such as Comuted Tomography (CT scans) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)’s etc
Operating Radiographic equipment such as Xray machines, MRI scanners etc
Reading Diagnostic image studies to determine if they are diagnostic or to locate possible areas of concern
Preparing patients for examinations by explaining test procedures and ensuring the comfort of a patient
Preparing patients for exams by administering contrast agents or positioning them for screening
Recording patient information
Preparing equipment for use by cleaning and sterilizing according to protocol

Requirements

In order to establish your career within this position, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

Current qualifications in Medical Imaging
AHPRA registration and Victorian Radiation use license
2 years experience as a Radiographer highly desirable
Proficiency in Xray
Excellent Customer Service skills
Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check, Police Check and NDIS screening check
