ABOUT THE ROLE

With this great career opportunity as a Site Supervisor, you will report to the Regional Manager – Geelong to manage the day to day operational services within the site including maintaining a high quality, efficient imaging service for our patients and referrers; providing leadership and direction to staff under supervision; to managing rosters and leave for technical staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

-Managing a proactive well-functioning practice

-Supervising the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes

-Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols

-Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken

-Familiarity RIS/PACS system to ensure accurate information is obtained

-Demonstrate leadership in the treatment patients with care, compassion, dignity and respect

-Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable

-Foster good public relations and communications with your team, patients, relatives, visitors and the general public

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

-Demonstrated leadership experience in a Chief Radiographer, Senior Radiographer, -Modality Supervisor or similar position

-Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent) recognised by ASMIRT

-Holds AHPRA and professional indemnity insurance

-Regularly participates in further education and continued professional development

-Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

-Strong attention to detail

-A passionate and “can-do” attitude towards work
