BreastScreen Queensland is currently seeking to recruit a Breast Imaging Radiographer – Senior, to their team on a fixed term temporary full-time basis, up to 20/07/2023. This position is based in Garbutt, Townsville. About your opportunity:
The Breast Imaging Radiographer – Senior will perform consistently high-quality mammograms, regularly participating in assessment and diagnostic clinics and providing support, advice and a high standard of care to clients in the BreastScreen Queensland Townsville Service.
Generous remuneration package value up to $11,770 p.m. comprising:
• Salary range of $4409.80 to $4745.20 p.f. (HP4)
• 4, 5, 6 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading.
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

• It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
• Possession of a Use Licence or be eligible for a Use Licence under the Radiation Safety Act 1999.
• Possession of a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) issued by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) or equivalent, or the ability to attain one within twelve months of commencing employment.
• Possession of a Statement of Registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Register (ASAR) if utilising ultrasound skills.
• Travel is a requirement of this position visiting locations within the Townsville, Mackay and North West Hospital and Health Services and also Brisbane.
• Possession of class C drivers’ licence.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
