About the role

Maroondah Hospital Medical Imaging is seeking a suitably qualified MRI Technologist for a fixed-term, part time Grade 2 position. The role would suit an enthusiastic and experienced MRI Technologist who has well developed leadership skills, sound understanding of the pressures of a fast-paced MRI environment, excellent communication and proven problem solving skills.

Maroondah Hospital Medical Imaging is a friendly, patient-focussed department offering a full range of modalities including General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, DEXA, CT, Mammography and MRI. An adjacent Emergency department operates 24hrs a day, 7days a week. The Medical Imaging department operates a fully-licensed Philips Ingenia 3T MRI and provides a 24/7 on-call service to the hospital. The MRI service provides a broad range of examinations and procedures in a friendly and supportive team environment. The position is available from September 2022 until September 2023, working 40 hours per fortnight. The successful applicant will be required to participate in the on-call roster.

About you

AHPRA registration and Victorian Radiation Use License
Level 1 ASMIRT MRI Accreditation
Post Graduate qualifications in MRI would be highly regarded
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
