About the facility

Barwon Medical Imaging provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including X-Ray, OPG, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine. These are performed by a team of highly skilled radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses and support staff who ensure that all patients have access to quality services.

 

About the role

As the Grade 2 MRI Radiographer you will work alongside other radiographers in providing medical imaging services that includes MRI, X-Ray, CT and/or other specialist modalities. After hours services are provided to MRI outpatients, X-ray outpatients, emergency department, ICU, Theatre and hospital wards.

All medical imaging equipment is of high quality including Siemens MRI (3T and 1.5T), Philips Digital Diagnost C90 X-Ray, Siemens Force CT, Siemens GoTop CT, Philips iQon CT and Philips DSA suite.

BMI provides imaging services across several sites including University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre, Barwon Health North, Torquay and Colac Area Health.
