About the role

Maroondah Hospital Medical Imaging is seeking a suitably qualified MRI Technologist for a permanent, full time Grade 3 position. The role would suit an enthusiastic and experienced MRI Technologist who has well developed leadership skills, sound understanding of the pressures of a fast-paced MRI environment, excellent communication and proven problem solving skills.

The Maroondah Hospital Medical Imaging is a friendly, patient-focussed department offering a full range of modalities including General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, DEXA, CT, Mammography and MRI. An adjacent Emergency department operates 24/7.

The Medical Imaging department operates with a fully licenced Philips Ingenia 3T MRI with an extended hours, 7 day-a-week service including on-call. The MRI service provides a broad range of examinations and procedures in a friendly and supportive team environment.

The successful applicant will be required to participate in a rotating roster and with appropriate training, on-call duties.

About you

AHPRA registration and Victorian Radiation Use License
Post Graduate qualifications in MRI would be highly regarded
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
