About the role

Opportunity exists for a Grade 2 MRI Radiographer to join the Medical Imaging team at Eastern Health – Maroondah Hospital in a Permanent Full Time capacity.  The Maroondah Hospital Imaging department is a busy site and offers a full range of modalities including General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, DEXA, CT, Mammography and MRI. An adjacent Emergency department operates 24 hrs a day, 7 days per week.

The Medical Imaging department operates a fully licenced Philips Ingenia 3T MRI with an extended hours, 7 day-a-week service including on-call. The MRI service provides a broad range of examinations and procedures in a friendly and supportive team environment.  The successful applicant will be required to participate in a rotating roster and with appropriate training, on-call duties.

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
