Experienced sonographer

Expressions of interest are invited from ASAR accredited Sonographers for work in the beautiful South West of Western Australia. Remuneration is a very attractive daily rate, plus 10.5% superannuation guarantee.

You will need to have an ABN as a company, or be a sole trader.

You will need to be NT accredited and be able to perform a wide variety of examinations, including MSK, obstetric, and Vascular .

In addition, you will need to have at least five years post graduate experience, as the role is a sole practitioner position without a Radiologist on site, and all cases are reported by Teleradiology.

A high level of professional initiative and clinical confidence will be required.

Workdays are flexible, with 2 days a week guaranteed and more days available for leave cover, subject to negotiation.

There are multiple hospitals and practices nearby who are also seeking staff, should you wish to supplement your working days.

The sites are Collie District Hospital, Warren (Manjimup) District Hospital and Bridgetown District Hospital. You will be working as part of a team supporting local GPs, examining outpatients, inpatients and Emergency dept patients.

Collie and Warren have just had new GE Logiq E10 machines installed in recent weeks. Bridgetown has a GE Logiq E9 due for replacement by March 2023.
