The Role

Dynamic Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our very busy Nuclear Medicine and PET Department at Cabrini Malvern.

The Cabrini Nuclear Medicine and PET Department operates with three Nuclear Medicine cameras (two SPECT/CT and a cardiac camera) as well as a PET camera. The department performs a full range of Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging studies, a range of therapies and is involved in a number of trials.

Applicants need to be prepared to participate in the departmental on call roster.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Performing examinations and procedures to a high standard.
Assisting with the smooth operation of the department.
Involvement in quality control and assurance programs.
Participation in the on call roster.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you require:

Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation) in Nuclear.
Medicine Technology or accepted equivalent.
Registration with AHPRA.
Current Radiation Use Licence (Department of Health).
Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to take direction and prioritise work.
Sound communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
