Medical Imaging Technologist – MRI (Grade 2)

Cabrini Malvern & Brighton

The Role

The Medical Imaging Department at Cabrini Hospital is seeking applications from a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Medical Imaging Technologist Grade 2 to join our MRI team at Malvern and Brighton Campuses. We are currently expanding our MRI service at both locations.

The successful applicant will be required to work a variety of shifts across a seven day roster.

Key responsibilities

Strong MRI experience, preferably on Siemens 3T and 1.5T platforms.
Undertakes supervisory responsibilities.
Performs and assists with radiographic procedures efficiently and accurately.
Assists in the smooth operation of the area of responsibility.
Responsible for the care of the patient before, during and after the medical imaging examination, ensuring compassion and care.
Examines the patient radiographically as and when requested in writing by a qualified medical practitioner.

About you

Seeking a skilled and capable MRI Technologist with experience in CT and General X-ray, preferable.

You will have

Diploma or Bachelor degree in Radiography / Radiation / Medical Imaging.
Certificate of Competence from a recognised Radiology Association.
Experience in additional responsibilities including supervision is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills with a patient focused caring attitude.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
