Chief Radiographer (2IC)

Apex Radiology (formally Global Diagnostics) started in 1996 in the Southwest of Western Australia. As part of the Integral Diagnostics Group (IDX group) one of the largest radiology providers in Australia and New Zealand with 72+ locations, we provide comprehensive Radiology to public hospitals and stand-alone medical imaging practices in 6 locations in Western Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Chief Radiographer – Medical Imaging Technologist (2IC) to lead high quality diagnostic imaging services and patient care in our comprehensive Hospital and Private practices in the beautiful city of Mandurah, in the peel region and only 1 hour to Perth Western Australia capital city.

You will be a pivotal member of the Apex operations team as you will significantly contribute to the running and direction of the business.

Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

managing the site operations and day-to-day supervision of your allocated sites.
managing rosters and leave for your teams.
supporting and collaborating with Management, Radiologists, Modality Leads and staff
maintaining a high quality, efficient imaging service to our patients and referrers.
assisting senior management with the operational needs of the practices
Peel Specialist centre provides emergency imaging to both inpatients and outpatients, as well as servicing the community, hospital, and its theatres with a range of imaging services including MRI, CT, Cardiac, Nuclear Medicine, Cath Lab, Oncology imaging, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology.

ABOUT YOU

Registration with the AHPRA
WA Radiation Use Licence and working with children check
Membership with ASMIRT (or equivalent)
Experience in MRI would be advantageous
Good people skills to show patients care, compassion, and empathy
Previous leadership experience will be highly regarded
