About the role

The Medical Imaging Department – Maroondah Hospital is seeking a suitably qualified MRI Supervisor to join its senior management team. The Imaging Department at Maroondah Hospital is a busy site and offers a full range of modalities including General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, DEXA, CT, Mammography and MRI. An adjacent Emergency department operates 24 hrs a day, 7 days per week.

Situated within the Main Imaging Department, the MRI service is equipped with a fully licenced Philips Ingenia 3T system, operating 7 days-a-week with extended hours and on-call provision. The MRI service provides a broad range of examinations and procedures in a friendly and supportive team environment.

Reporting to the Associate Program Director of Imaging – Maroondah, the MRI supervisor is responsible for MRI service provision including the monitoring of quality and MRI Radiographer rostering and education. The successful applicant will be required to participate in a rotating roster and on-call duties as appropriate.
