Being the first Melbourne-based Vascular Surgery group practice, Yarra Vascular Surgeons was founded on a realisation that a team approach to vascular health was far superior to what individual surgeons could achieve. About you

Experienced sonographer, competent in most aspects of vascular ultrasound
Confidently perform all vascular ultrasound scans independently without supervision
Willingness to learn and participate in procedural ultrasound is essential
Passion for excellence in patient care, great interpersonal skills, makes patients feel at ease
Impeccable hand hygiene and infection control
Attention to detail and pride in work produced
Excellent technological skills – operate mobile ultrasound scanning equipment
Great IT skills – use laptop/portable device to submit worksheets and typed reports through our cloud based software systems
Team player – works well in small teams with multiple vascular surgeons and our imaging lab manager, and can contribute to and participate in regular team meetings, both clinical and administrative
Travel – ability to travel within metropolitan Melbourne and occasional regional sessions. Current drivers license is necessary.
