Grade 3 CT Radiographer

Classification: Medical Imaging Technologist Grade 3 (dependent on experience)

Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2021

This is a great opportunity for a suitably qualified CT trained Radiographer, to join our Medical Imaging Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and quality of our CT service, as well as performing CT a range of diagnostic imaging as required by the Medical Imaging Department.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in the general operation of a Medical Imaging Department
• Expert knowledge in CT Scanning including radiation dose minimisation, protocols, and future trends.
• Excellent leadership, training and interpersonal skills.

Specialist Expertise

• Ability to perform a wide range of Medical Imaging examinations
• Understanding of, and demonstrated commitment to improving, patient experience.
• Understanding of current operational practices
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Ability to accept change and use it to benefit the Department
• Willingness to liaise with Referring Practitioners and the Community
• Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice
• Ability to accept responsibility
