About the facility Barwon Health (BMI) will utilise the existing medical imaging department at Colac Area Health (CAH) to implement an additional imaging service aligning the standard of imaging with the existing BMI services across all sites. BMI – Colac Area Health will provide an accessible and equitable imaging service to the Colac Otway region. Barwon Medical Imaging provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including X-Ray, OPG, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine. These are performed by a team of highly skilled radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses and support staff who ensure that all patients have access to quality services. About the role As a Grade 2 radiographer at Colac Area Health you will assist the site supervisor to provide the services of X-ray, OPG and CT including an afterhours/on call imaging for a 7 day per week service. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the implementation of a new service for BMI servicing the greater Colac Otway region.
