Maxillo Facial Imaging (MFI) are The Dental Radiology Specialists of Australia.  Focussing solely on CBCT, OPG and Lat Ceph, we pride ourselves on providing this niche at the highest quality for general and specialist dentists and their patients.  MFI began in Melbourne and has since grown to three sites in Victoria and one in the ACT with MFI Perth being our first opening in Western Australia.  MFI are a focussed and dedicated team providing the perfect balance of Dento-Maxillofacial and Medical Radiologists. Patient care is our priority and we are committed to providing the most comprehensive dental radiology service across Australia.

The Opportunity:

MFI are opening a new facility within The Park Private Hospital, located in Mt Lawley, WA.  The recently opened boutique hospital is the perfect partner for MFI and we expect to open our doors very shortly. We are looking for two part-time qualified Radiographers to join this new team on a permanent basis.  Part-time hours are flexible and negotiable.

The Park Private Hospital:

The Park Private Hospital is located in Mount Lawley, five minutes from Perth CBD and fifteen minutes from Perth airport.  A brand new hospital, with a vision to be the premier provider of boutique health services in Western Australia and mission is to provide patients with optimal health care in a safe, personalised environment and return them to the community in a state of well-being.

The MFI Radiology clinic will be providing CBCT, OPG and Lat Ceph, and operating between the hours of 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday

The role:

A radiographer to provide both radiography and administration duties as outlined below

Radiographer duties:

Patient care.

The Alara principal to be applied.

Ensuring quality of scan correct before patient leaves department.

Quality control & calibration of machine.

To consult with MFI radiologists and radiographers when and as needed.

To work in line with The Park Private Hospital.

High quality of customer service.

Administration duties:

Phone answering service.

Make patient appointments.

Using patient registration information system (RIS)

Invoicing and receipting of patient payments.

Transmitting to Medicare.

Banking and end of day reconciliation.

About you:

Cone beam CT experience is desirable but not essential, training can be given on this niche field of radiography.

OPG and Lateral Ceph experience is again desirable but not essential.

Ability to work collaboratively with teams at MFI and The Park Private Hospital to deliver imaging excellence in a growing organisation

Excellent interpersonal skills

The ability to balance workload to ensure timely patient care alongside clinical and operational excellence

A current WA Radiation License – help can be given to obtain this
