ABOUT THE ROLE

Lake Imaging is seeking an Advanced Sonographer – Clinical Trainer / Ultrasound Tutor to take a leadership role in the training and advancement of Sonographers and sonographers-in-training. A key element is that you will proactively look at ways to improve the skills of the Sonography team to broaden their scanning abilities to ensure that they continue to expand the knowledge to provide exceptional service to patients and improve efficiency.

You will enjoy passing on your knowledge and passion as you actively engage with the members of the Sonography team to provide a structured process to develop skills in various subspecialties of Sonography, whilst continuing scanning your own patient list. Your role will also include:

clinical supervision, leadership, and training to ensure that Sonographers in training have adequate supervision and support amongst their peers
to lead change through quality and service improvement activities for the Sonography services
to provide quality patient care and workflow to meet the practice standards

ABOUT YOU

Demonstrated advanced level communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with staff and patients
Flexibility is a key as you supervise students to develop their skills
5 years plus qualified as a Sonographer with General to advanced skills in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Breast, MSK and Vascular studies
Bachelor Applied Science (Medical Imaging Technology) or equivalent and Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography or equivalent as accredited by ASAR
Offering a competitive Remuneration package = base salary + superannuation, plus relocation allowance, laptop, and additional employee benefits.

Support towards obtaining a Visa will be offered to international suitably qualified Sonographers.
