THE ROLE

Lake Imaging are looking for an experienced Radiographer or Sonographer to take over the daily supervision of our hospital site in Warrnambool. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will manage the day to day operational services within the site including maintaining a high quality, efficient imaging service for our patients and referrers; providing leadership and direction to staff under supervision; to managing rosters and leave for technical and admin staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols within nominated timeframes

Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable.
Foster good public relations and communications with patients, relatives, visitors and the general public.
Undertake continuing education to ensure maintenance of skills and the ability to adopt newly developed techniques in medical imaging

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Qualifications in Radiography and/or Sonography and relevant registration with AHPRA or ASAR
Minimum 10+ years experience in your respective Medical Imaging profession
Previous experience in a leadership position
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
