ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a motivated and committed Radiographer to train in Sonography at our Gladstone comprehensive private practice and public hospital sites who will value patient care, a strong team environment, professional growth and being dedicated to delivering a positive patient experience.

To be considered for this position, you must be enrolled as a Student Sonographer undertaking an Australian based course post-graduate university degree in Diagnostic Medical ultrasound and ideally hold an undergraduate degree in Medical Imaging Technology (Radiography).

Through our structured ultrasound training program, you will be offered thorough on-site training to learn from our highly regarded skilled Sonographers and be part of our professional onsite team, be provided appropriate scanning and observation time, that will guide you through your post graduate training over a 2-year period. This is a minimum commitment of 4-years; 2 years training plus a minimum of 2 years post ultrasound qualification of employment.

ABOUT YOU

You must hold a relevant qualification in Medical Imaging Technology, or associated medical field and be working towards qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
Be committed to your own professional development, including embracing ongoing learning as part of professional development
Excellent interpersonal skills to demonstrate patient care, compassion, and empathy
Be able to commit to a career with CQ Radiology and IDX Group
Work rights for Australia or valid Visa
This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm, with On call CT shifts additional and employment will be subject to training period and qualified commitment period based at our Gladstone practice. CQU and QUT 4th year Sonography welcome to apply also.
