ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity for an experienced radiographer to step up to the next level, as CT Supervisor for the Ballarat region, overseeing the CT service at SJOG Hospital Ballarat and our private practice. You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of CT service, maintaining and developing protocols and staff training. Ideally, you will have unit management experience, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team. You will be supported by a strong team and onsite Radiologists.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated CT specialist with the ability to supervise a team and be willing to work in various locations.

Skills Required:

Minimum 5 years post Graduate Radiography experience
Demonstrated experience in CT Radiography
Excellent communication skills, with proven experience in liaising with key stakeholders
Current licensing and registrations; this includes registration with AHPRA and current Victorian radiation license
Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent)

Demonstrate prior experience in supervising a CT service
Demonstrated effective planning, organisational and analytical solving skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people
Ability to work on flexible work schedules
Ability to work with trainees in General radiography and CT
Strong attention to detail
A passionate and “can-do” attitude towards work
