Medical Imaging / Radiology are looking for a Sonographer – Advanced (Clinical Educator) who will deliver specialist level clinical expertise and clinical leadership to develop, deliver, coordinate and evaluate specialised education programs and research in Sonography.

About the Role

  • Demonstrate specialist level knowledge and skills in Sonography practice to manage education, development, and research components of the service.
  • Apply specialist level clinical knowledge and skills to contribute to, coordinate the documentation of, and review process of Sonography planning and treatment protocols as part of a departmental quality assurance program.
  • Overall accountability for quality of education programs, teaching and training standards and clinical programs for orientation, new and retraining Sonographers, and to address identified skill deficiencies.
  • Initiate and coordinate the development and delivery of quality educational programs, including ongoing state-wide monitoring and needs identification within the practice domain, using effective partnering protocols and practices at an advanced level.
