South Coast Vein Institute is South-Western Victoria’s own vein clinic offering surgical and non-surgical management of varicose veins, with a team of dedicated clinicians who live and work locally.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and highly skilled Sonographer to join our clinic for a fixed term contract (12 months) commencing January 2022. The role calls for 1 day per week and involves:

– Performing pre and post procedure venous ultrasound.

– Working with the General Surgeon and team for high quality patient outcomes.

– Maintaining clinical data.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Be registered with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Medical Sonography and eligibility for membership of the appropriate professional organization.
• Friendly manner
• Ability to work independently
• Strong patient focus providing care and empathy at all times
• Good time management, solid clinical reasoning skills, attention to detail and the ability to take constructive direction
  Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
