ABOUT THE ROLE

Lake Imaging are seeking a Locum Radiographer to be based at the St John of God Hospital in Geelong. Covering a 3 month period from December through to February 2022, you will be responsible for providing a high quality diagnostic imaging service and patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols within nominated timeframes
Understand nursing procedures for the patients examined and the procedures for medical emergencies, infection control and interventional techniques
Be able to work with radiologist in the performance of procedures and to assist them as required. This includes knowledge of sterile techniques
Treat all patients with care, compassion, dignity and respect at all times and without compromise
Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Current AHPRA registration and Victorian Radiation Use Licence
Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong attention to detail
A passionate and “can-do” attitude towards work
Willingness to work weekends and on-call and overtime duties
