The Geelong Breast Clinic (GBC) is regional Victoria’s premier breast imaging centre, providing a unique mix of diagnostic and screening imaging within the one practice to Geelong and surrounding districts. The clinic provides the latest in digital mammography, ultrasound and interventional technology in a clinic, situated within Geelong’s medical precinct.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Mammographer to perform radiographic examinations providing high quality diagnostic imaging service and patient care in order to assist in the management of patients referred from clinicians.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent)
Current licensing and registrations; this includes registration with AHPRA and professional indemnity insurance
Experience and competency in screening and diagnostic mammography and assessment work-up procedures
A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs
Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong attention to detail
A passionate and “can-do” attitude towards work
