Job Description

Breast Screen Queensland are currently seeking a Breast Imaging Radiographer to join their team on a fixed term temporary full-time basis up to 27/03/2022.

About your opportunity
You will perform consistently high-quality mammograms, regularly participate in assessment and diagnostic clinics and provide support, advice and a high standard of care to clients in the BreastScreen Queensland Townsville Service.

Role requirements:

A tertiary qualification establishing eligibility for Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Possession of a Use Licence or be eligible for a Use Licence under the Radiation Safety Act 1999.

Possession of a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) issued by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) or equivalent, or the ability to attain one within twelve months of commencing employment.

Hold a Statement of Registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Register (ASAR) if utilising ultrasound skills.

Staff are expected to work various shifts including some Saturday mornings at the static clinic and on the mobile unit across the BreastScreen Queensland Townsville Service catchment area. This includes Townsville, North West and Mackay Hospital and Health Services.

Generous remuneration package value up to $116,094 p.a. comprising salary range of $2653.50 to $3900.10 p.f. (HP3), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation.
