ABOUT THE ROLE

With this great career opportunity as a Site Supervisor, you will report to the Regional Manager – Ballarat to manage the day to day operational services of the Lake Imaging, St John of God Hospital site. This role is responsible for maintaining a high quality, efficient imaging service for our patients and referrers; providing leadership and direction to staff the medical imaging team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Managing a proactive well-functioning practice.
Technical staff rostering and leave .
Supervising the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes
Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols
Coordination of equipment service and maintenance.
Familiarity with RIS/PACS system to ensure accurate information is obtained
Demonstrate leadership in the treatment patients with care, compassion, dignity and respect
Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable
Foster good public relations and communications with your team, patients, relatives, visitors and the general public

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Demonstrated leadership experience in a Chief Radiographer, Senior Radiographer, Modality Supervisor or similar position
Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent) recognised by ASMIRT
Holds AHPRA and professional indemnity insurance
Regularly participates in further education and continued professional development
Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong attention to detail
A passionate and “can-do” attitude towards work
