About the role

The Maroondah Hospital Medical Imaging Department is responsible for the timely delivery of Diagnostic procedures within a comprehensively equipped department which includes the most up to date multi-slice CT’s, US, DR, Fluoro, DEXA, Digital mammography and 3.0T MRI.  You will work with a diverse team of professionals with differing levels of experience, an even gender mix and diverse ethnic background comprising a well-rounded team of health professionals.

To be successful in the role you will have:

Broad industry knowledge of all general imaging modalities including PACS and experience with EH RIS (Karisma)
Significant clinical experience in all modalities exc. MRI
Qualifications to allow acceptance into the Australian Society Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.(ASMIRT)
Registered with the Medical Radiation Practitioners Board. (AHPRA)
DHS ‘Use Licence’.
Competent technical and mentoring skills.
Organisational skills & ability to prioritise.
Demonstrable team player skills and attitude.
Focussed customer service skills.
