About the Role

Deliver Medical Imaging services to clients of Queensland Health as a member of the Logan Hospital Medical Imaging Services team, Metro South Hospital and Health Service.
• Radiographers are required to work across a range of clinical areas and participate in a night shift, weekend and “on call” rosters.
• Is responsible for patient care when performing imaging examinations and reports any patient related incidents.
• Commensurate with level of experience provide routine advice to referring clinicians, nursing staff, other allied Health workers, support staff and patients.
• Participates in quality and service improvement activities for development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the medical imaging work area.
• Continues to develop Medical Imaging knowledge and clinical skills, obtained by tertiary education and clinical experience, through active learning and by engaging in professional development activities.
