The Role

The Cardiac Sonographer role offers flexibility, work with a diverse range of patients and the opportunity to work within a caring and committed team of health care professionals.

The role will include:

Working closely with patients to perform diagnostic investigations such as Echocardiograms, Transoesophageal Echocardiograms, Dobutamine and Stress Echocardiograms;
Preparation of written documentation for diagnostic examinations performed; and
Participation in in-house education and professional development evenings.

The Person

The candidate will have a caring and friendly attitude towards both staff and patients and approach must align with our company values of Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration and Excellence.

Candidates must have:

Clinical and technical experience in echocardiography;
Post Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent;
Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)or Australasian Sonographers Association (NZMRTB);
The right to work in Australia;
Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn;
A professional and caring manner; and
Flexibility to work a range of rostered shifts.
