ABOUT THE ROLE

Situated at the gateway to the beautiful Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road as well as the impressive Bellarine Peninsula renowned for it’s wineries, we are seeking a full time Sonographer to be based at our practices in Geelong. The primary focus of the Sonographer is to perform radiographic examinations providing high quality diagnostic imaging service and patient care in order to assist in the management of patients.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Sonography accredited by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
Have demonstrable experience as a Sonographer including the ability to perform high quality medicine imaging examinations within a clinical setting
Clinical, practical and interpretive skills to obtain high quality ultrasound image
Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
The flexibility to work between sites
Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
Be committed to your own professional development, including embracing ongoing learning as part of professional development
Good interpersonal skills in order to show patients care, compassion and empathy
