This is an opportunity to work in one of the Shoalhaven’s top Cardiology Practices. With Services in Nowra and Milton, we are a well-established and privately-owned, providing cardiac services to people on the South Coast of NSW. We are seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join our friendly team on a part-time basis of two days a week. This role will primarily involve performing Echocardiograms and Exercise Stress Echocardiograms. The practice has built a strong reputation for providing prompt, high quality services, performing investigations within 2 weeks of referral. The team are very supportive of one another and the Practice promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Essential Skills:

· Current ASAR accreditation

· Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in Cardiac Sonography and stress testing

· Ability to interpret ECG’s

· Willingness to supervise student Cardiac Sonographer

· Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and provide high level of patient care

Desirable skills:

Experience with GE machine and Echopac software
Ability to scan from left or right
· Strong interest in learning and development

· Experience in 24 hour Holter monitor analysis and pacemaker/device interrogation/programming

Experience in assisting transoesophageal echocardiography
