ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Sonographer for key provider of medical imaging services within the ultrasound department. As a professional in your field, you will need to work well within a team and is able to develop close working relationships with our Radiologists and multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest quality service and patient care.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Conduct patient clinical assessment and perform the diagnostic medical Sonography examination as requested by the supervising physician in accordance with professional and facility protocols.
Provide the patient with caring and safe environment during the sonographic examination.
Undertake the highest quality ultrasound imaging to provide optimum diagnostic results for the interpreting physician

 

ABOUT YOU

Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Sonography accredited by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
Have demonstrable experience as a Sonographer including the ability to perform high quality medicine imaging examinations within a clinical setting
Clinical, practical and interpretive skills to obtain high quality ultrasound images
Observe, analyse, provide diagnostic and recording skills
Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
On Call will be required
Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
Good interpersonal skills in order to show patients care, compassion and empathy
