A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our close-knit & supportive team at our private well established specialist cardiac testing practice.

Ipswich Hearts continue to offer high quality cardiac testing after 16 years of service to the local community. Cardiologists Dr Sean Mulhearn, Dr Paul West and the Ipswich Hearts team are dedicated to providing the best patient outcomes.

Work closely with the Practice Manager, Doctors & Ipswich Hearts Team to ensure the smooth running of the echo & stress echo clinics.

Skills/Experience: 

• Tertiary qualification in Biomedical/Medical, Cardiac and Exercise Sciences (or equivalent)
• Postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Ultrasound (or equivalent)
• Current ASAR accreditation
• Minimum  3 years working as Cardiac Sonographer
• Confident & competent to independently perform & report ECG, echos & stress echos
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a compassionate & professional attitude
• Effective communication skills, eye for detail & quality driven
• Experience using GE Vivid S70N machine & ViewPoint software (preferred not essential)
• Full time/part time/casual/subcontract opportunity – flexible employment arrangements with hours and days of work flexible for the right candidate.
• Remuneration negotiable based on experience.
