We provide comprehensive Radiology and Tele-radiology services to private medical facilities, public hospitals, WACHS (Western Australia Country Health Service) and operates a series of stand-alone medical imaging practices across Western Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Apex is seeking experienced

Located in brand new department at the Kalgoorlie Health Campus is a 106-bed inpatient facility in picturesque Goldfields region located 1 hour directly East of the Perth, Western Australia’s capital city, and one of the largest regional hospitals in WA. You will have the opportunity to develop this service with its newly operational a Siemens 1.5T scanner and work in with WACHS Medical Imaging team to provide much needed to service to this community.

With this unique opportunity, we are flexible to your location as we have the following 3 options:

FIFO 3 days per week to Kalgoorlie and be based in Perth
Or live locally in Kalgoorlie working only 3 day per week
Or FIFO 3 days per week to Kalgoorlie and 2 days at our Southern Perth practice if you are seeking a Full-time position

ABOUT YOU

* Tertiary degree qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography)
* Minimum 7+ years’ experience in MRI Radiography
* A strong background in MRI, with at least level 1 MRI Asmirt qualifications
* Strong working knowledge with RIS/PACS` system
* AHPRA – Medical Radiation Practitioner Registration
* WA Radiation Use Licence
* Australian residency – Rights to work in Australia

This offers an hourly rate of $59.37 + superannuation, annual leave, accommodation, travel/relocation allowances up to $5000 depending on your residing location. You must be able to commence by May 2021.
