ABOUT THE ROLE

We have the rare opportunity for an Ultrasound Supervisor to join the Lake Imaging team to support the Ultrasound department by maintaining a high quality, efficient services for our patients and referrers; providing leadership and direction to staff under supervision; to managing rosters and leave for technical staff.

* Supervising the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes
* Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols
* Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken
* Demonstrate leadership in the treatment patients with care, compassion, dignity, and respect always and without compromise
* Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable
* Foster good public relations and communications with your team, patients, relatives, visitors, and the general public
* Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US – share your passion!
* Identifying training for junior Sonographers as required

ABOUT YOU

* Demonstrated leadership experience in a Senior Sonographer, Modality Supervisor, or similar position
* Holds ASAR and professional indemnity insurance
* Regularly participates in further education and continued professional development
* Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Strong attention to detail
* A passionate and “can-do” attitude towards modality
