ABOUT THE ROLE

Apex Radiology is seeking a highly experienced MRI Manager / Technologist to lead the management in MRI modality to ensure high quality diagnostic imaging services, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services and patient care in our comprehensive Hospital and Private practices in Mandurah, Bunbury to Metro region, Western Australia.

As the MRI Services Manager, you will work collaboratively with the managers of the hospital sites across the region to ensure that the radiology and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services are exceeded for quality patient care for the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining a high quality, efficient MRI service to our patients and referrers
* Support the Radiographers and MRI Technologists by mentoring the team
* Co-ordinate and supervise the operational activities of the MRI team
* Ensures the safe and efficient use of the MRI equipment, resolving faults/issues, and liaise with vendors and management as required
* Assisting management with ongoing growth and development of MRI services
* Liaise with Radiologists, modality supervisors and staff
* Other duties, such as reporting or projects as directed by the TSM, and/or General Manager from time to time.

ABOUT YOU

* Degree qualifications in Medical Imaging, ideally post grad or business degree
* A strong background in MRI, with at least Level 1 MRI ASMIRT qualifications
* Strong working knowledge and experience with RIS/PACS` system
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships
* 10+ years’ experience working in a Radiology practice; is ideal but not essential

This role holds a competitive remuneration, fulltime leadership opportunity to be part of the Apex Radiology Management team based in the South West, ideally Mandurah. Must be able travel between sites as required working Monday to Friday – no call or weekends. Generous relocation assistance from East coast offered.
